I Tested Toxin Rid Detox Pills: Here’s My Review

I tried out this detox program and took a drug test afterward, and I’ll share those results with you.

How did I detox for a drug test with Toxin Rid 5-day detox program

Here’s a quick intro about me:

I’m 6 feet tall, weigh 187 lbs, and have about 22% body fat. I’m physically fit and do about an hour of cardio training each day.

I usually consume less than 5mg of edibles up to 5 nights a week and have been doing this for the past 10 months.

In short: I’m a regular user with a fast metabolism and good physical condition.

For someone like me, a 10-day detox program would have been more appropriate since I can be considered a “heavy user.” However, I chose to test the 5-day detox kit to see if it could handle a tough situation (and it was also cheaper).

If you’re a heavy user facing a crucial drug test, I’d recommend opting for a longer detox program.

The instructions were straightforward: Take three tablets with 8 oz of water every hour for five hours each day for five days straight. Do not exceed 15 tablets per day, and make sure to take them at the same time each day for the best results.

During my experiment, I tested myself with a THC test strip and used a 5-panel drug test for the final test. I decided to start taking the tablets at 9 AM each day. The pills are large, and it was difficult to swallow all three at once. I found it more comfortable to take them one by one. Remembering to take them each hour can be inconvenient; I had to carry the pill bottle with me.

The pills have an okay taste, leaving a slight vitamin aftertaste. I didn’t experience any bowel issues or other health changes, and my urine color stayed the same.

As per the instructions, I avoided all sugary beverages (which wasn’t a change for me) and continued to eat healthily—vegetables, lean meat, and at least 70 oz of water daily.

I tested myself every morning, but the tests showed positive each day. Even on day 5, I still tested positive, which was disconcerting.

On the fifth day, after the last set of pills, it was time for the detox liquid.

The instructions were to take the detoxifying drink two hours after the last set of pills. You need to fast during those two hours. Depending on when you take the detox liquid, you might have to skip breakfast or dinner. Mix half of the detox liquid with 8 to 16 ounces of distilled water (or orange juice to cut the salty flavor), then avoid eating or drinking for two hours. After that, take the remaining half with another 8 to 16 ounces of water. Wait another two hours before eating or drinking again.

So, my last set of pills was at 1 PM, and my last meal was at 9 AM. I mixed half of the detox liquid with 16 oz of water at 3 PM and found the herbal, medicinal taste a bit bitter. It wasn’t terrible, but not exactly pleasant either. I then waited another two hours without eating or drinking.

After this, I tested myself again, and finally, the test showed negative! I didn’t even need to use the dietary fiber, which was a relief.

The Toxin Rid 5-day detox program worked for me; five days were sufficient in my situation.

However, if I had to pass a critical drug test, I would choose the 10-day detox program to be on the safe side. If you use marijuana less frequently than I do, a 3-day program might be enough for you.

How does Toxin Rid work?

When you consume marijuana, THC enters your bloodstream. It gets there through your lungs if you’re smoking or your stomach if you’re eating edibles. Once in the blood, THC travels to the liver where it’s metabolized, meaning it’s broken down into metabolites. While our bodies can naturally clear out other toxins, clearing marijuana requires breaking down body fat cells. After that, the released THC can be captured by body fat cells again. You might test negative for THC and then test positive again after exercising.
